UPDATE 2: Britney Spears is set to give her family and friends the first look at her engagement ring tonight before unveiling it to the public. TMZ reports that Britney and Jason Trawick will be having a private gathering for a select few at Planet Hollywood before Jason's celebratory dinner.
Planet Hollywood Las Vegas owner Robert Earl will be attending the event, and plans to make a toast to the happy couple.
Update: Even though it wasn't supposed to happen until tonight, Britney Spears is now engaged to Jason Trawick.
Britney wrote on her Facebook page: "OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I've been waiting for. Can't wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo."
Trawick proposed last night and is planning a party in Vegas to celebrate. The party will happen at the Chocolate Lounge at the Sugar Factory in the Paris Hotel. After dinner, everyone will go to the Chateau nightclub.

Source says Trawick plans to ask while the two are in Las Vegas. Spears already knows he will ask, so it's not a surprise. Her conservators have approved of the engagement and its likely a judge will sign off on it.
Meanwhile Trawick plans on asking Britney's father for permission. There will also be a prenup.
