Ke$ha Plans to Bring Back Rock 'n' Roll with Her Next Album
Posted by Chad Webb on 01.03.2012

Ke$ha says she plans to resurrect rock 'n roll with her next album.

She commented: "I feel like I don't necessarily agree, but people say that rock and roll is dead, and it is my mission and my goal to resurrect it in the form of my pop music. That's the goal. We'll see what happens. That's a very ambitious and lofty goal, but that's my goal."

She recorded a cover of Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right," which will appear on Amnesty International's Chimes of Freedom tribute compilation, which hits stores January 24th.

She goes on: "You might hear a little bit more vulnerability on the next record 'cause I have realized just from this Dylan cover coming out that it can be such a strength and a nice balance to humanize the other side of my personality. I have learned over the past three years of doing this that being vulnerable doesn't mean you're weak. I very much want to be seen as a strong woman, but I realize that vulnerability can also be a strength. So on my next record, you are going to hear probably a little more of that. I'm not going to make an acoustic, sad entire record."

She and producer Dr. Luke will go into the studio this month to begin recording. Meanwhile, she releases a remix of the song "Sleazy," which features Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000.

I am a big fan of her and even I have no idea what this new rock-inspired music from her might be going to sound like. However she has a vast catalogue of unreleased recorded demos ranging from country and folk over poprock to electro/dance and hip hop. So she is certainly not a one-trick pony, and I wouldn't put it past her to be able to record an actually very solid rock album.

I am anxisouly awaiting the first single release, probably in February or even late January.

The song she recorded with Alice Cooper for Welcome 2 My Nightmare was pretty kick ass. I don't know much about her but she has a great voice for rock. New and refreshing over people like Amy Lee and Lizzy Hale. No disrespect to those singers, Kesha just has a different, stronger voice.

She thinks she writes music. How cute.

F**k off and die. Rock and roll is not dead. Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, The Raconteurs, Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, and Pearl Jam (to name a few) are holding it down just fine. Don't give us that "I don't necessarily agree" crap, that's just to protect your sorry ass from the backlash that the dumb words and sounds that come out of the hole in your face would cause.

Kesha, yeah suck it that I didn't put a stupid $ sign in there, wouldn't know rock'n'roll if Godzilla, King Kong, and Mothra came and bit her untalented ass!

If she wants to be rock and roll then I hope she dies at the age of 27 drinking a bottle of jack while Mick Jagger is banging her in the ass!
