Fake Kanye West Twitter Account Suspended

Account was pretending to be his fashion line...

A Twitter account falsely purporting to be Kanye West's fashion line has been shut down. Billboard reports that the account in question was titled "Kanye West" and got suspended after West posted on his legit account that it was a fake, saying:

I really appreciate the fake DW twitter page but since it's not official I can't co sign any information on it

The name of the line is Kanye West not DW. The Dw was a design element placed on the invite in homage to my mom

The false account had 1,700 followers and sent out four messages since it had started on December 28th. The account was suspended around 5:00 PM ET.
