Ice-T and Chuck D to Perform at Sundance

Rappers celebrating Ice-T's documentary...
Ice-T, Chuck D and Grandmaster Caz will perform at Sundance's Celebration of Music in Film on January 21st. The performances are to celebrate Ice-T and Andy Baybutt's Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, about the genre's craft and skill. The film has input from Afrika Bambaataa, Nas, Mos Def, Eminem, Chuck D, KRS-One, Run-DMC, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg.
This is the first time that rap has been at the event. Lou Reed, Lyle Lovett, John Hiatt and Patti Smith have previously performed at the show. The Institute will also present live music nightly at the Park City, Utah location, with at least two musicians will perform nightly.
