[AUDIO] De La Soul To Release New Concept Album Under Name First Serve

A new name for a new project...
De La Soul will release a new album under their new alter egos First Serve. The album will have an old school hip hop, disco and funk feel to it.
Plug 2/Dave and Plug 1/Pos are in character, calling themselves Deen Whitter and Jacob "Pop Life" Barrow. The album will be released on April 2.
The movie was described as "the soundtrack to a movie that has yet to be made and a fable for our times" and tells the story of two friends (Deen and Jacob) living in Queens, New York who want to make it big in the music world. The two release a single and become successful artists. The two also released a video skit called "Mrs. Whitter" and you can see it here.
