Kanye West Reportedly Planning Film Project in Middle East

Similar to his "Runaway" short...

Kanye West is reportedly planning a new film project in the Middle East. The New York Observer reports that Kanye has sent a few of his people to the Middle East to talk about an upcoming film project that would be similar to his thirty-minute "Runaway" featurette from 2010. The project would be filmed in March.

Sources say that West sent people to talk with film companies and government officials based out of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Doha Qatar about the idea, and several local officials and film companies are said to be engaging in a bidding war for the contracts. Kanye reportedly choice the Middle Easat after performing in Abu Dhabi and having "fallen in love with the region."
