Over a commercial he filmed for Chrysler…
- Eminem is currently facing a $9 million lawsuit from a homeless man named Stephen Lee Pieck over the Born Of Fire' commercial Eminem filmed for car company Chrysler.
Pieck filed the lawsuit earlier this month at the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York, where he lists his address as "homeless." In it, he claims that on September 9th, 2010, he was having dinner with Christina Aguilera and her then husband Jordan Bratman in the Legal Seafood restaurant in White Plains New York. He then says Aguilera called Eminem, handed Pieck the phone and it was then that he gave Eminem the idea for the 'Born Of Fire' commercial.
The commercial was debuted during the Super Bowl in 2011, and features Eminem's ‘Lose Yourself." Pieck stated the following in his handwritten lawsuit…
"I want the court to reward me a judgment in the amount of $9 million. I designed every aspect of the commercial and the commercial was stolen from me. In addition, I did not receive compensation in monetary terms for the work I did."
