X Factor UK Judge Working With Rihanna's Producer on Debut Album

Tulisa is getting the album back on track...

X Factor UK judge Tulisa Contostavlos has joined with writer/producer Jean-Baptiste Kouame for her debut album. Contostavlos was working with producer N-Dubz on the album but the two parted ways, and a later collaboration with former bandmate Fazer went the same way. Tulisa is now working with Kuoame, who has worked with Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and Cheryl Cole, on the album on the recommendation of Def Jam's Max Rousse.

"Jean is behind some of the biggest hits of the past decade," said a source. "Tulisa worked with him a couple of years ago when she was in LA working on N-Dubz's third album. They hit it off immediately and have kept in touch ever since."

The album is expected to be released in May in the UK.
