A free show...
Lana Del Rey played an exclusive show at Hollywood's Amoeba Records yesterday.
Before she started her first song, "Born to Die", a fan shouted out "marry me". She smiled and laughed at that. She sang the original version of the song, which had "let me f*ck you hard in the pouring rain" instead of the new censored version, "kiss you hard". The crowd cheered the decision.
She later sang a request for "a little more reverb" from the man in charge of sound, before playing "Video Games". The performance was supposed to begin at 4pm, but fans arrived at 6am and hundreds were waiting by 3:15 at Amoeba.
She thanked her fans, adding: "It hasn't been very easy this, but you make it so nice. I'm so glad to be here. I do just want to say, thank you for everything, and you know what I mean."
After her performance, she stayed to sign copies of her album Born to Die for fans.
