Sharon Osbourne Denies Firing Bill Ward From Black Sabbath

Plus, an update from Ozzy on Tony Iommi...
Sharon Osbourne denies that she asked Black Sabbath to fire drummer Bill Ward.
Ward originally pulled out of the band's planned reunion shows and recording sessions for a new album unless he was given a "signable contract". The band said they would continue without him.
Osbourne, who is the manager of Ozzy but not the band, said on Twitter: "I am not in any position to hire or fire anyone in Black Sabbath. I don't manage the band, I manage my husband."
Meanwhile, Ozzy has provided an update about Tony Iommi's progress since being diagnosed with lymphoma. He said: "He's going to beat it. What it's down to is determination and believe me, this guy's got more determination than anybody I've ever met. It's going to be fine. It's just one of those trials in life that happen. When the bombshell hit about Tony's cancer problem, I came to England. It would've been pretty bad if I would've stayed in L.A. He's got so much support, not only from each one of us in the band, but the fan base; it's unbelievable. It's one of them problems you have in life. He isn't going to die, I'm telling you. I told him if he dies, I'm going to kill him."
I am sure that I am not fully correct, but didn't Sharon and Ozzy sue Tony Iommi to get control over Black Sabbath because they weren't getting proper representation over the Black Sabbath name? Meaning, they weren't being told about possible business deals (I would guess like "The Wizard" being used in a World of Warcraft commercial) so they were holding Iommi liable for potential lost earnings?
I was under the impression that was the case, sort of like how the other members of The Dead Kenndeys sued Jello (and won) because he wouldn't allow The Gap to use "Holiday in Cambodia" for a commercial.

Apparently I looked it up, and the dispute between Iommi and Ozzy was handled back in July 2010.
"Heavy metal legends Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi have settled their dispute over who owns the name “Black Sabbath.” In May 2009, Osbourne filed suit against Iommi accusing the Sabs guitarist of falsely saying he was the sole owner of the moniker.
Today, a spokesperson for Osbourne issued a statement saying that the pair had, “amicably resolved their problems over the ownership of the Black Sabbath name and court proceedings in New York have been discontinued. Both parties are glad to put this behind them and… would like it to be known that the issue was never personal, it was always business.”
