Joe Francis Will Sue Madonna
Posted by George H. Sirois on 02.09.2012

Despite Madonna conceding to Joe Francis' cease-and-desist letter and removing her song "Girls Gone Wild" from her Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show setlist, Francis is still planning to sue Madonna over her song on her album MDNA.

The legal team from the head of Girls Gone Wild comments with, "This isn't personally directed at Madonna as a person, this is a business decision. And now she's aware that she stepped over the line. If Mr. Francis was producing a product called Material Girl, and she had a copyright, I doubt she'd appreciate it."

The song was never part of the Super Bowl set list.
