Madonna Breaks Several Records

A good week for her...
Madonna broke several records this week for her new album, her Super Bowl halftime show performance and more.
Her performance at the halftime show was the most watched in Super Bowl history as she had 117.8 million viewers, three million more than the actual game. Pre-orders for her album MDNA hit the #1 spot on iTunes in fifty countries and has the largest one day pre-order of any album in iTunes history.
Madonna commented: "Thanks for all the L-U-V!! from around the world."
Part of the success so far has been Clear Channel's marketing campaign. They premiered her single and video "Give Me All Your Luvin'" on all of their media platforms including radio, outdoor, online and mobile on February 3. They also tried to get fans to go to iTunes via on-air and online promotions so they could buy the new single and pre-order the album, which will be released on March 26.
Here are some other feats she accomplished this week:
-11,000,000 YouTube downloads of her new music video. She was also the most searched subject on Youtube and Google during the Super Bowl.
-Her new single jumped to #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is her 56th appearance on the chart.
-47.1 million households watched Madonna's Super Bowl performance.
-"Give Me All Your Luvin" is #2 on iTunes, up from #11 after the Super Bowl. It's also had 2500 spins in less than 48 hours at Top 40 radio. 1600 Clear Channel Digital Billboards around the world aired the video.

-1200 – lbs. – weight of Madonna's golden throne designed by Madonna and Jimmie Martin in London. Throne included 2 specially designed specially designed sphinx heads covered in Swarovski crystals.
-250 – Volunteers who assembled and took down stage during half time in 6 minutes.
