Van Halen Expected to Take #1 On Billboard Album Chart
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.10.2012

Van Halen is expected to claim the top spot on the Billboard album chart next week. Billboard reports that the band's A Different Kind of Truth will become its first #1 album since 1996 with around 200,000 copies. Adele's 21 will get close to that and it may still take the #1, though currently it's pegged to score just under Van Halen. The full predicted list is below:

1: Van Halen - "A Different Kind of Truth"
2: Adele - "21"
3: The Fray - "Scars & Stories"
4: Various Artists - "Now 41"
5: Dierks Bentley - "Home"
6: Paul McCartney - "Kisses on the Bottom"
7: Various Artists - "2012 Grammy Nominees"
8: Drake - "Take Care"
9: LMFAO - "Sorry for Party Rocking"
10: Lana Del Rey - "Born to Die"
