Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.17.2012

Katy Perry is on track to have the biggest single sales debut since last February. Billboard reports that "Part of Me" is expected to sell between 400,000 to 420,000 downloads by week's end, which would make it the biggest opening week since Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" sold 448,000 the week of February 26th, 2011. The song should easily claim the top spot of the Digital Songs chart with Adele and Whitney Houston battling for #2.
