They still want $10 million...
The Game has been ordered to pay $5 million to North Carolina police officers who appeared in his 2005 film Stop Snitching/Stop Lying.
An appeal court in North Carolina upheld the decision made by another court in 2010. The police officers were featured in scenes for a promotional DVD of a mixtape he released the same year.
They claimed they were filmed without permission after they arrested the rapper at a shopping mall in North Carolina. They launched a lawsuit for defamation of character. They are still seeking $10 million in punitive damages, but that will be looked at in a separate trial.
