Earth, Wind & FIre's Maurice White Accused Of Not Paying Dead Producer

Don't let a little thing like death get in the way of paying...
Earth, Wind & Fire creator Maurice White is being sued for not paying producer Charles Stepney, who helped come up with some of his biggest hits ("Shining Star", "Mighty Mighty", "Devotion" and "Sing a Song"). The problem is that Stepney died in 1976.
Stepney's children claim they only recently discovered that Stepney never got any royalty checks for his work, even while he was alive. They want White and Sony Music Holds, Inc to pay for all the royalties they claim they deserve, dating back to 1974.
