Kelly Clarkson Says Her Boyfriend Is Hurting Her Creativity

Hard to get work done...
Kelly Clarkson told People that her boyfriend is hurting her creativity.
She said that it's hard to find her edge now that she's in a happy relationship, after her breakup songs like "Since U Been Gone".
While promoting ABC's reality show Duets, she said: "It is killing me. I'm trying to write a tough song and it is coming out like butterflies and rainbows."
Clarkson has been dating Nashville talent manager Brandon Blackstock since late 2011, but it was publicly announced in early March. Blackstock is the son of Clarkson's manager Narvel Blackstock, and the stepson of Reba McEntire (who performed "Because of You" with Clarkson).
She joked: "It is ruining my creativity. I'm writing all this happy [stuff]. People used to ask, 'Why are you single?' and I'd say, 'It is not in my schedule. I'm in a relationship right now and I have time for it. I never used to. People are going to be, like, 'What the hell happened to you'. It has been really difficult. I love it. It's an awesome problem to have."
The next single from her fifth album (Stronger) will be called "Darkside".
