Gene Simmons spent his Father's Day watching his daughter try out for The X Factor. TMZ reports that Simmons' daughter Sophie attended the auditions in San Francisco today. Simmons said she wanted a fair shot and said to the judges, "This isn't about my dad. This is about my audition."
Simmons showed up at the last minute. According to sources, the KISS frontman got a call from Sophie the night before saying that she couldn't make it home because of the audition. Simmons jumped on a private jet and made it out in time to see the audition.
