The man who designed them says no...
James Rock, the man who made the company that makes holographic images of pop stars told BBC that they will not replace live concerts in the future.
Musion Systems have made "holograms" of Madonna, Simon Cowell, will.i.am and Pixie Lott.
Even though the images are 3D and have been called holograms, they are actually optical illusions. They are also called "Pepper's Ghost", which involves projecting the image on an angled piece of glass.
