Sheryl Crow Files For Restraining Order Against Delusional Fan

Sheryl Crow has filed for a restraining order against a delusional fan who she says she is fear of her life from. TMZ reports that Crow filed the request today against Phillip Gordon Sparks, a forty-five year-old fan who began posting messages about her on Facebook back in April.
Crow claims in the filing, "It was clear to me that [Sparks] was deeply disturbed because his posts were delusional, rambling, filled with profanity and laced with angry rants." She noted that Sparks claimed in a post that she had broken into his house, looking for his gun.
She elaborates, "Other posts claimed that I was supposedly filming him surreptitiously, tried to have him arrested and that I had stolen money from him. All of these allegations were, of course, categorically false."
Crow says that last week he went to the Screen Actors Guild office, telling an employee that he was going to shoot her. She says she now fears for her safety as well as that of her her family, employees and her manager, the latter of whom Sparks mentioned by name in a post. She is protection for herself and 16 other people, including her two sons, nanny, sister, assistant, parents, siblings and managers.
