NME reports that the Arctic Monkeys cover of The Beatles "Come Together" will likely hit the top twenty on the official UK Singles chart at #19. The band performed the song last Friday at the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
Meanwhile, Florence and the Machine's "Spectrum" may lose the #1 spot to Wiley's "Heatwave", as well as being knocked down by Calvin Harris and Example's "We'll Be Coming Be Back", causing it to fall to #3. Maroon 5 and Karmin will take four and five, respectively.
The other high debut belongs to Underworld's Olympics song "Caliban's Dream", which will come in at #7.
On the albums chart, Conor Maynard's Contrast will likely get #1, knocking Plan B's Ill Manors to #2. The album is also outselling Ben Drew's new soundtrack and Chase and Status singer Delilah's solo album Roots, currently at #3. Emeli Sande and Maroon 5 will take four and five, while Mike Oldfield's Two Sides: The Very Best Of goes to #6 after his appearance at the Olympics.
Rick Ross will likely debut at #7 with God Forgives, I Don't, The Gaslight Anthem's Handwritten will take #11 and Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and Adele take up the rest of the top ten. Blur's 21 boxset will get #33. Testament will hit #34 with their album Dark Roots On Earth.
