The Now franchise back at #1…
Now 43 is headed to the top of the charts. Billboard reports that the latest in the Now That's What I Call Music! line will sell between 110,000 to 120,000 to claim the top of the Billboard 200 album chart.
The album is the sole new major release of the past week and will have little competition to claim the top spot. It is the first album in the franchise to hit #1 since Now 37 did so in February of 2011. The current #1, Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't, is likely for #2 , though how many copies it will sell is not yet clear.
Also entering the top 200 in their debut will be Elle Varner's Perfectly Imperfect, Colt Ford's Declaration of Independence and John Mayer's The Complete 2012 Performances Collection, the latter an iTunes-exclusive EP.
