[VIDEO] Tommy Lee May Be Sued For Roller Coaster Drum Stunt
Posted by Joseph Lee on 08.16.2012

TMZ reports that Tommy Lee may be sued for his upside-down rollercoaster drum solo stunt, as Scott King, an engineer from Los Angeles, says he pitched the idea in 1991 and Lee stole it.

King sent a letter to Motley Crue's lawyers claiming Lee turned down the idea twenty years ago and then stole it for Motley Crue's 2011 tour. He says he was never paid and now he wants his money. He added that he will sue if he has to.

Lee's attorneys sent their own letter in response. They say King never pitched anything to Lee and even if he did, his model (which goes all over the stage) is nothing like the stationary drum ring that Lee uses. No lawsuit has been filed as of this time.
