Lil' Wayne Hit With Two Lawsuits
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 08.26.2012

TMZ reports that Lil Wayne's record label is being accused of giving music producers their cut of royalties for some of his rap albums in two separate lawsuits.

This week, Andrews "Drew" Correa and Marcos "Infamous" Rodrigues, filed separate federal lawsuits against Lil Wayne's label, Young Money Entertainment.

Correa claims he signed deal with YME in 2008 to produce some music for a YME artist. Correa says that the music ended up on the Carter III, Re-Birth, I'm Not a Human Being, and Priceless albums. Correa said he recently stopped receiving his royalties from YME for unknown reasons.

Rodriguez's lawsuit says he signed with YME in 2007 to produce music which appeared on the Carter III, Re-birth, We Are Young Money, Carter IV, and Priceless albums. Rodriguesz says YME recently stopped making their royalty payments to him as well.

Both producers are suing Wayne through the law firm of Sing, Singh, and Trauben.

Lil Wayne has not commented yet on the situation.
