Cee Lo Green Developing Sitcom Based On His Life

Cee Lo Green is working on a sitcom that would be based on his life. THR reports that Cee Lo will executive produce and may star in the show, which is set up at NBC as part of the first-look deal the network has with his Emerald Productions shingle. The project is set to be written by Ali Leroi (Everybody Hates Chris) and is said to focus on Green's struggle to balance his home life with his career as a singer and record producer.
Green appears on NBC's The Voice and had a supporting role in Sparkle. He will also appear in the musical drama Can A Song Save Your Life? starring Keira Knightley.
