Nas and Lauryn Hill Announce Fall Tour
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 09.19.2012

Billboard reports that Nas and Ms. Lauryn Hill, ahve announced their Life is Good/Black Rage tour today.

The duo will start a 10-city tour starting later in October.

Nas's latest album is Life is Good and it debuted on the Billboard 200 last month. "Black Rage" is Hill's new single which arrives this fall. Hill's single will address the "derivative effects of racial inequity and abuse" and will be a juxtaposition to "life is good."

According to Hill, "I use the performance platform as an opportunity to express the energy of that moment, and the intention behind it. I've been a long standing rebel against the stale, over commoditization."

Regarding the buildup to the tour with Lauryn Hill, Nas said "Better late than never. Life is good!"

The two performed together at the Hot 97 Summer Jam in June. Nas featured Hill on his single "If I Ruled the World," in 1996. It made No. 16 on the Hot 100.
