[VIDEO] AJ McLean Tries To Pull The Celebrity Card To Get Out Of A Ticket
Posted by Joseph Lee on 10.02.2012

TMZ reports that AJ McLean, member of the Backstreet Boys, was pulled over early this morning and appeared to try to get out of a ticket by saying he was a celebrity. He was pulled over around 1 AM in Hollywood when the Los Angeles Police Department noticed a problem with his license plates.

He said he just finished a concert tour and didn't know there was a problem. He brings up the tour several times, possibly to let the officer know he's a star. The cop says he's more of a New Kids on the Block fan, to which McLean replied: "We actually just got off tour with them."

His registration turned out to be fine but he was issued a citation for not having proper proof of insurance. It's unknown if he will have to pay any money for the citation.
