Paul Ryan Accused of Stealing 'Bean' Anecdote From Kurt Cobain

The two stories are similar...
Congressman Paul Ryan has been accused of stealing an anecdote regarding the naming of his daughter from the late Kurt Cobain. Ryan told the story during last night's vice presidential debate against Joe Biden of how his daughter Lisa got the nickname of "Bean" while answering a question on abortion, saying, "You know, I think about ten and a half years ago, my wife Janna and I went to Mercy hospital in Janesville where I was born for our seven week ultrasound for our first born child. And we saw that heartbeat. Our little baby was in the shape of a bean, and to this day we have nicknamed our first born, Liza, 'Bean'."
According to Gawker, several people pointed out on Twitter that the story was almost identical to one told by Kurt Cobain in regard to his daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, getting her middle name because she looked like a kidney bean on Courtney Love's ultrasound.
Ryan has previously stated that he is a big Nirvana fan.
