He was homeless...
TMZ reports that the man who broke into Frances Bean Cobain's home in Los Angeles is a homeless man named Marc James Franco. Franco was doing laundry when he was found in her home on October 13. He has been charged with first degree burglary.
Cobain was out of town when Franco entered her home. He was found by a relative who went to the house to take care of Cobain's dog. Franco said he was a friend of hers, but the relative didn't believe him and called police.
If he is convicted, he faces six years in state prison. He pleaded not guilty and will be back in court later this month.
