Red could have a one million plus sales week...
Billboard reports that Taylor Swift's new album Red is trending toward a million-plus sales week and a number 1 spot debut on the Billboard 200.
Industry sources believe the release will surpass Swift's previous release, Speak Now which opened with 1.046 million sales in 2010 per Nielsen SoundScan.
In only two days, Red has reportedly moved 600,000 units.
Relative newcomer Kendrick Lamar, makes his major label debut with Good Kid M.A.A.D. City by Interscope. His album will likely hit number 2 on Billboard's 200 with a sales sum of over 220,000 units. That puts Lamar in the highest sales range for male rappers this year, the highest currently held by Young Jeezy with TM:103: Hustlerz Ambition from January.
Other albums set to hit the top 10 next week include: Stone Sour's House of Gold & Bones Part One; Tony Bennett's Viva Duets; and Gary Clark Jr.'s Blak & Blu.
