Cee Lo Green Accused Of Giving Woman Ecstasy And Having Sex With Her
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.02.2012

TMZ reports that the woman accusing Cee Lo Green of sexual battery secretly recorded a conversation with him which allegedly features Green admitting to giving her ecstasy and had sex with her. Green has denied this.

She told police that Green took her to a downtown Los Angeles in July. They had a drink and then the woman claims after that she remembers nothing. She says she woke up naked in a bed and Green was in the room. The woman, who does not live in California, went to her local law enforcement and reported the incident. The case was then referred to the LAPD.

Police had the woman make a "pretext call", in which someone baits the other party into admitting a crime took place, and it was recorded. Green is on the tape, apologizing and referencing MDMA, even though he doesn't say he put it in her drink. He says in the tape that he thought the drug would help them have an "exciting time" together. MDMA usually does not cause people to lose consciousness.

Those connected with Green say that if the tape had any admission he would have already been arrested. Detectives have already went to the restaurant to see if employees saw anything happen between the two. LAPD detectives will refer the case to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office when the investigation is over.

Those connected to Cee Lo claim that the woman went to a civil lawyer before the police and demanded money to make the case go away. Other sources say that her lawyer hired Green's manager to see if he had any diseases and never made any money demands. Other sources say the manager turned the lawyer down and that's when the woman went to police. Others claim she called the police before her lawyer called Green's manager.
