The first group to do it...
Metro reports that TLC want to reunite as a three-woman group for their comeback tour next year by bringing back Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes as a hologram. Lopes was killed in a car crash in 2002 at the age of 30. The two other members, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, are still hurt by their loss. Chilli spoke to Metro in an interview.
On bringing Lopes back as a hologram: "The hologram is something we talked about and thought about years ago, obviously timing is everything but we're definitely talking about it. It will be hard on us but I certainly think our fans would love to see it. We would definitely be the first group to ever do it. I think we would probably pass out and all of our fans would break down but it's amazing how real the hologram looks, it's almost like you can touch the person. It's great but spooky at the same time but we're definitely thinking about it."
On stopping her music career: "I can't see myself not (performing). It's in my blood and I love it. Maybe when I'm 98 or I'll chill out but not a minute before."
On their new biopic that will be out next year: "We are so honoured to have the opportunity to tell our story and let people see our journey."
On if she would judge American Idol: "I think it would be fun. I wouldn't be mean, I'd be honest but I'd have a little honey on my honesty."
