Speaking out against her critics...
The Sun reports that Adele has responded to those who make fun of her weight and says she'd only diet if it affected her sex life. She adds that she's happy to be a size 14-16.
She said: "I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me — ‘Test pilot for pies' — but I've always been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."
This came after comments this year from designer Karl Lagerfeld, who said: "She is a little too fat, but she has a beautiful face and a divine voice.". He later apologized for his comments. Lady Gaga also responded to those against her weight gain by saying Adele was bigger than she was.
Adele mentions the issue in her book Adele: The Biography, which was published this week. She also talks about her early years, her mother and her love of love songs. She added: "When I was a girl, I loved love songs, the ones about horrible relationships. Ones that made you cry."
She currently lives with her boyfriend Simon Konecki. She does not name the man who inspired her album 21. She said: "He was older, he was successful."
