Florence + The Machine Drummer Almost Misses Concert After Getting Trapped in Toilet

He couldn't get out of the stall...
The drummer for Florence + The Machine nearly missed the group's BBC Radio concert this week after getting trapped in the bathroom. The Scotsman reports that Chris Hayden had gone to the bathroom before the group's gig for BBC Radio 2 In Concert in London on Thursday and found himself stuck in the stall.
The Rivoli Ballroom staff came to his rescue and had to remove the door so he could get out in time for the performance. Frontwoman Florence Welch said of the incident, "I didn't know whether to say it on stage because I didn't want to embarrass him, but he got trapped in the loo. He was screaming. He got really freaked out. We could hear him trying to bash the door down, and they had to take the door off its hinges, so my Dad did offer to stand in. But he did escape."
