Madonna Stalker Convicted for Resisting Arrest

Fox News reports that a former firefighters with a crush on Madonna has been convicted of resisting arrest outside Madonna's former New York City apartment building. He was found spray-painting poster boards with love notes.
A jury delivered its verdict Friday in Robert Linhart's trial. He faces up to a year in jail. His lawyer, Lawrence LaBrew says that Linhart plans to appeal. Linhart was arrested in September 2010. Police say he parked his SUV outside Madonna's Manhattan apartment, put out a tarp, and wrote messages such as, "Madonna, I need you."
Jurors told the Post that they thought it was acceptable for Linhart to express himself to Madonna, but they believed police testimony that he resisted arrest by flailing his arms.
