Mumford and Sons Play the First of Two Gigs at the Hollywood Bowl

The band plays in the legendary LA venue...
NME reports that Mumford and Sons finished up the first of two evenings at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles last night.
The band played a two hour long set in which they were joined by support band Dawes for the finale. They also did a did a cover of The Beatles 1967 track "With A Little Help From My Friends."
During the concert, frontman Marcus Mumford told the crowd about the tour they just finished of New Zealand and Australia where "we spent the whole time asking people to stand up, but you were standing when we got here."
Also in attendance were actors Zach Braff and Colin Firth. Before the band played "The Cave," Marcus said, "We heard so much about this venue, and its lived up to all expectations. We're looking forward to doing it again on Monday."
The band is set to play at the Hollywood Bowl again on November 12. Next they will head to the UK to start their sold out Tour of Two Halves tour which will see them play in theaters and arenas across the country starting on November 21.
Mumford & Sons will return to North America to play a run of shows on the East Coast in February and then go on tour in Europe in March and April.
