Michael Jackson's personal assistant has filed a class-action lawsuit against the company that financed Jackson's "This Is It" tour. TMZ reports that Michael Amir Williams filed the lawsuit today, claiming that he and the rest of the This Is It crew lost money due to the company's hiring of Conrad Murray, who was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Jackson a fatal dose of Propofol.
Williams claims that AEG agreed to pay the staff up to $7.5 million for the tour, which was aborted after Jackson's death. Williams says AEG was irresponsible in hiring Murray and then failing to properly manage or supervise him. He is asking for unspecified damages.
