Hollywood Life reports that Justin Bieber allegedly proposed to Selena Gomez and she wasn't ready to get married, which led to their break-up.
The proposal happened a few months ago and Gomez told him to ask him again in a few months. When he did, she still said no.
The news that they split up appeared online on November 9. Several theories popped up including some that blamed Miley Cyrus.
The website Blind Gossip reported: "They have agreed to never, never, ever talk about the proposals! It would be far too damaging to his reputation if people found out that a smaller star turned down a bigger star."
