Jimmy Page Rules Out More Led Zeppelin Reunion Shows
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.14.2012

NME reports that Jimmy Page has said that Led Zeppelin is very "unlikely" to ever play together again.

He appeared on Later...With Jools Holland to promote Celebration Day, which will be released on November 20 and features the band's 2007 reunion in London.

He said: "We're almost five years after the O2 concert and I must say I thought there might be some other get together for some reason or another but, as the years ticked by, it doesn't look very likely does it? But [at least this gig] is there."

He previously told NME that it took two years before and the rest of the band watched the footage and another three years before they released it.

He added: "It was important that if we were going to do [a reunion] at all, that we went out there and did it properly. We put a lot of time and effort into it so that it would be what you're going to see now, which is just one show – that's all we did, no warm-up gigs, no follow-up. It wasn't designed to be a film at all. That's why it's taken a little while to come out, because we didn't even look at it for two years after we'd done it, so we could be a bit more objective about it."
