Maroon 5 Ties 2012 Mark For Longest Reign on Billboard Hot 100
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 11.14.2012

Maroon 5 has one of the two biggest hits of the year. Billboard reports that "One More Night" spent a ninth week on top of the chart, tying Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" as the longest reigning single of the year. Meanwhile, PSY fell out of the #2 spot after seven weeks, making way for Rihanna's "Diamonds." The first single off Unapologetic, which releases next week, rose two places to #2 while Ke$ha's "Die Young" was up three places to #3. Coming in at #4 was fun.'s "Some Nights," down a spot from last week while PSY's "Gangnam Style" fell three places to #5.

In the lower half of the top 10, Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven" was up a place to #6 while Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" fell two places to #7.
