Big Boi has shot down rumors that OutKast is done after comments he had made went viral about Andre 3000 being too busy with his "contractual obligations" with Gilette to contribute to Big Boi's album. The Atlanta rapper posted to Twitter:
The Gillete Statement was me being Sarcastic, man y'all slow as hell, No Beef between me and Stacks. No More Outkast ?'s will be answered
Big Boi had said a similar comment on MTV's RapFix Live when he said, "It was a vicious misunderstanding, how my man ain't gonna be on my album to do a shaving commercial? Get the f--- outta here."
The duo's last album together was Idlewild in 2006.
