On a flight to London...
Fuse's senior writer Jason Newman wrote an article for the website in which he talked about his experience on Rihanna's 777 Tour flight from Berlin to London.
He said the journalists on the flight had jet lag, not enough sleep or food and consumed several liquor bottles, which caused things to get a little crazy. They began to complain about the tour conditions and Rihanna disappearing after hanging out on the plane on the first day. On writer said as the group boarded the 3 am flight: "Something is about to go down on this plane."
Before takeoff, journalists began yelling for Rihanna to come out. Chants of "Just one quote!," "Save our jobs!" and "I need a headline!" were frequent. Another writer shouted: "If you won't do anything, we'll create our own story!" One writer said she should "high five every single person on the plane."
Eventually, one Australian journalist stripped naked and ran up and down the aisles of the plane to applause.
Then people began to chant "S.O.S." and "Where have you been all my life/Are you hiding from us?" A Def Jam publicist wondered "what the f**k was going on" while one writer yelled "Occupy 777!" Most of the frustrations were at Rihanna herself rather than the tour organizers. There have been rumors that at least one flight was held for two hours due to her lateness.
Eventually the organizers told everyone to get back to their seats. When asked if Rihanna knew what was going on, the publicist said: "I don't know. Someday, before we die, I'll tell you my version of the story."
Newman also tweeted: "So yeah, the #777tour plane staged a revolution against Rihanna on flight between Berlin and London. Crowd chanted 'Just one quote!,' 'I need a headline!' and 'Occupy 777' while Aussie journo stripped naked and ran around the plane."
