No Doubt's Latest Single Only Sells 1,400 Copies In The UK

Bad news for the band...
NME reports that No Doubt's latest single "Looking Hot" only sold 680 copies in its first week in the UK.
The song is the second from the band's comeback album Push and Shove. It got #397 on the UK chart, which is almost 1,500 short of the top 200. The album itself peaked at #16 and sold less than 7,000 copies and "Settle Down" hit #85. So far, the song has sold 1,400 copies.
A performance on The X Factor, which usually helps an artists sales by 300%, didn't do so this time. Some people are blaming the decision to pull the controversial music video in which Gwen Stefani was dressed a Native American squaw, danced in a tepee and was watched by a wolf. The band apologized for offending anyone and removed the video.
While sales figures are low, Last FM say that 28,000 people have "scrobbled" the song, which amounts to 117,000 plays. This hints that fans are listening to the song on streaming instead of downloading it.
