Nas Owes A Million Dollars To The State Of Georgia

TMZ reports that Nas owes $1,083,435 to the State of Georgia in taxes. The state government will now garnish his earnings from the taxes Nas owes for 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010.
The Georgia Department of Revenue has an order that tells Live Nation (who is behind Nas' tour with Lauryn Hill) to garnish his wages until the debt is cleared. The tour is currently under way and Nas is expected to make a lot of money.
A representative for Nas says the matter was recently settled, but the GDR says the case is still open and they're trying to collect the money.
