Muse Bassist Chris Wolstenholme Says He Nearly Fainted The First Time He Performed Vocals
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.22.2012

Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme told The Sun that he nearly fainted the first time he took on lead vocals in concert.

He sings two songs on Muse's latest album The 2nd Law, and he's also been performing then on tour.

He said: "Singing live was really, really tough at first. I was pretty gutted after the first show because I wasn't really prepared for the nerves, so as soon as I started singing I felt my legs going and I started wobbling and it was a bit of a disaster. I got over it fairly quickly, though, and I'm starting to enjoy it now."

The band announced earlier this week that they will have a huge stadium tour next year including shows at the Emirates in London and the Etihad in Manchester.
