Marcus Miller and Band Injured in Bus Crash

The driver was killed...
Jazz bassist Marcus Miller's bus overturned on a highway in Switzerland today, killing the driver. Billboard reports that Miller and the ten other members of the Marcus Miller Band were injured in the crash along with the second driver.
The private bus, which is registered in Germany, turned over as it went around a bend on the A2 highway and ended on its side. The driver who was at the wheel died of injuries, while according to police spokesman Karl Egli none the other twelve passengers sustained life-threatening injuries. They were taken to hospitals.
Miller has won two Grammy Awards during his career, one for "Power of Love" with Luther Vandross and Teddy Vann in 1991 and one in 2001 for Best Contemporary Jazz Album with M2. He has worked with the likes of Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Wayne Shorter throughout his career.
