PSY Says He Wants Tom Cruise To Do "Gangnam Style"
Posted by Joseph Lee on 11.29.2012

During a press conference to celebrate "Gangnam Style" being the most-viewed video on Youtube, Billboard reports that PSY said he wants Tom Cruise to go "Gangnam Style". He was asked which celebrity he wanted to see by The Associated Press on Wednesday.

These were his first comments since the video hit 842 million views, passing Justin Bieber's "Baby", which had 803 million views. It passed the song on Saturday for the record.

PSY said he never intended to become a star. He said: "It's amazing. I made this video just for Korea, actually. And when I released this song - wow."

The video has created parodies, tribute videos and has made PSY very popular. Earlier this month, Madonna invited PSY onstage to dance to the song at one of her New York City concerts. MC Hammer performed with him at the American Music Awards (and introduced him as ""My Homeboy PSY!") When asked on Election Day if he could do the horse-style dance, President Barack Obama said he thought he could, but he might "do it privately for Michelle," the first lady.

PSY was in Thailand on Wednesday for a free concert as a tribute to King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who turns 85 next month. He showed his respect at a Bangkok shopping mall and signed his name in an autograph book next to a giant poster of the King. He then gave a press conference as his fans performed the "Gangnam Style" dance.

He said he plans to release a worldwide album in March with new dance moves. He added: "I think I have plenty of dance moves left. But I'm really concerned about the (next) music video. How can I beat 'Gangnam Style'? How can I beat 850 million views?"
