Green Day Frontman Selling California Beach House

For almost two million dollars...
The Real Estalker reports that Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has put his Californian beach home on the market for $1.9 million.
Armstrong was admitted to rehab recently in October after throwing a tantrum and smashing his guitar onstage at the iHeartRadio Festival. Armstrong bought the property in 2006 for $1.7 million. Property records state that Armstrong and his wife Adrienne re-built the promperty from "the studs up" within a year of buying the house. It is situated a block from the ocean in Newport Beach, California.
Armstrong is slated to remain in rehab until 2013. The new Green Day album Tre has gotten its release date moved up to compensate fans who will not be able to see them perform live for a while.
