Billboard reports that Lady Gaga bought several Michael Jackson costumes at an auction held by Julien's Auctions. In fact, she bought a total of 55 pieces.
Darren Julien siad the jacket Jackson wore for his Bad tour earned $240,000. Two of Jackson's crystal-covered gloves sold for over $100,000 each, along with other jackets and performance costumes.
The auction featured the collection of Jackson's longtime costume designers Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. It earned over $5 million, some of which will go to Guide Dogs of America and Nathan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas.
Gaga wrote on Twitter: "The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide."
