So says their banjo player...
Mumford & Sons' banjo player Winston Marshall told NME that they are already working on new songs.
They released their second album, Babel in September and it went to #1 in both the UK and US. It was also nominated for Album of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards.
Marshall said: "Will we wait years for the next album? Fuck, no. You heard it here first. We've just started working on new songs, got a rehearsal studio. They're bones of songs, but really exciting bones. Sturdy bones."
The band played festival shows this year with one-day events at hand-picked locations worldwide over the summer. Marshall said that this will continue. He added: "We're gonna do more Gentlemen Of The Road Stopover festivals in 2013."
They are currently on the second portion of their Tour of Two Halves in the UK and Ireland. The tour began in November with theater shows and then moved into larger arenas earlier this month. The tour will finish with a sold out show at the O2 Arena in London on December 18.
